Hello, I recently identified a piece of CC that's gone rogue and looks like this in LOD3 in-game
The creator ( Ilkup) is on hiatus so I'd like to try to fix it for personal use, as I've ventured into blender with some EA mesh edits in the past, my best guess is that it's some kind of weights issue, but I am unsure where to begin or if that's really the issue at all. Any help is appreciated! The CC in question are pants, which are part of a set that can be downloaded here

Share the file, please. It's impossible to guess what's wrong just by looking at the picture.

Hi. You do not need to re-do weights. What you need is to export LOD3, then find an item the person cloned, clone it again, export its lod3, then compare the vertex groups. Your item will have some extra vertex groups that the original will not have, you need to delete them, then switch to Weight paint and click Normalize all. But yeah, please share the updated files so that we know for sure. It can also be the mismatched number of meshgroup between the original and the cloned item.

I will try that and report back with my attempt
