Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to make transparent wallpaper? I really need a room with walls, that looks like it doesn't have them. Or another solution to the problem may be a "window" with no frame and it would really by only that cut out space from the window that I could place on the wall. Anyone knows how to make that?

I'd be surprised if it's not possible to make windows (and an arch) that are all wall cutout with no frame, glass, etc., or at least very close to that. However, depending on what you're trying to do, there may also already be a solution that doesn't require anyone to fill a request for new content, or you to learn how to make it, before you can use it. If you just need the room to be treated as a room, for example, there are fences that are just lines on the ground/floor that Sims can walk over, but they will still define rooms in the game if you need that to make something behave the way you want it to. If you want to place objects that need to be placed on a wall, it's at least sometimes possible to place them with bb.moveobjects or other tricks. If you want to control where Sims can and cannot walk, Bakie at MTS (and elsewhere) has an invisible "fence" (not a true fence iirc) that will do that. If none of that sounds helpful, perhaps you could explain what you want to accomplish and what packs you have, and someone may be able to help.

Im doing many builds with roof acting as a extension of the roof. Like I create a room and then add roof on the same level to make for instance triangle shaped room. I need something to make the sidewalls of the roof part transparent, cause finding windows that fit is really hard especially when the shape of the roof is weird.

Ohhh, so you're using gabled roofs, and what you want is to make the triangular wall sections created by the gabled roof invisible, so that only the actual roof surfaces, the sloped parts, are seen? That's definitely more complicated; I see why you described it as 'transparent wallpaper', since if transparent wallpaper were possible, it would be a perfect solution because it would just work on every wall no matter what size or shape it was. I suspect that's not possible, though. And you can't just use something that isn't a wall, because creating the roof automatically generates the walls... hmm.
Now I'm curious, so I think I'll do some poking around at the idea when I get home and see if I can uncover anything useful.

I... I can't believe this actually worked. I'm not sure how much of this will make sense to you, but in case anyone else wants to know, I tried replacing the textures (both frame and glass) with empty transparent ones just to rule it out as an option, because I didn't think it was that easy, but it actually was that easy. (The full-wall cutout I already knew would be that easy -- I knew one of the early window cutout tutorials ( this one) had been written in terms of 'these are the dimensions of a wall segment, and this is how you use those numbers to eyeball the coordinates of your window' and that I could use it to figure out the coordinates for a full-segment cutout.) I can't share anything with you yet, because I used the biggest goddamn window I could find, and even if the creator's TOU didn't only allow recolors to be uploaded to TSR and nowhere else, I had to clone the mesh because a recolor can't overwrite the mesh's cutout. Plus I assume you're going to want something Sims can walk through AND something they can't, so I'll need an arch to go with the window. But as long as the transparent textures work on a base game EA window and arch too, and assuming this is actually what you want, I should have something for you soon. (I think I'm going to see if I can make a multiple wall segment cutout on a one tile window... better yet, on a really small one tile window, so it's extra easy to place.) For now, however, I need to go eat food. Feyona I guess you might want to move this into the requests section?

prodigiosare I have fallen down a serious rabbit hole making invisible build mode stuff for entire invisible buildings, but I want you to know that I've created an invisible window, cloned from a base game EA window, with a wall cutout enormously bigger than the window, including being taller than the tallest wall segment while still placeable on short walls, so one window will easily cover the entirety of most wall segments generated by roofs. The one thing I haven't been able to do is make it easy to place without bb.moveobjects, since without the cheat the game insists that the wall be big enough to accommodate the entire cutout no matter how small the original window was. (Thus I abandoned using a tiny window and instead used a nice big two tile one to improve the grabbable area so it's easier to find the invisible thing.) It's all coming along pretty well, but if you only want the window (i.e. you don't need Sims to be able to pass through any part of the invisible wall segment, so don't need an invisible arch/door) I could probably just pretty that up and send you a link.

Hi! I made an account just to reply to this lol. I think I'm running into the same problem as OP where the only things I want invisible are the walls, not the roof itself, that generate automatically with roofs. I was searching for a plain transparent wallpaper like this, and it seems that no one has made such a thing! I'm surprised! Is there anyone who can help? While we're at it by the way it would be equally, very very nice if there was an invisible flooring to couple it with. I just want the whole dang thing gone! Hope someone replies -- have a nice day 🥺

I'm looking for EXACTLY what you have in that screenshot and for some reason i just can not figure it out x.x trying to do it in s4s still leaves me with a black frame!

I would love cut out holes and transparent walls. Maybe Bakiegaming could help out? he makes animated walls that are amazingly pretty.

I have the package file in my Documents, both in the S4S mods folder and the EA mods folder. It shows up as an option in CAS alongside my other cc, but when I actually click on it, nothing happens tutuapp.uno/ . It doesn't appear on my sim.
