Hi modders, I'm very disappointed that in this new EP, EA didnt give us a Japanese Futon, which are one of the most important aspect of a Japanese lifestyle. (but well thats EA for ya) So if anyone can make a Japanese futon, that's be great! It need to be one the floor, and it needs to be portable (foldable). Fyi, a futon is a japanese style bed. In japan, people traditionally lay a thin, soft mattress on the floor (usually tatami) and sleep on it. And during the day, it's usuallt folded and stored in a closet. They look like this.  I found an old futon cc by a japanese modder, but it's broken and no longer usable.  |

There's a good chance the issue with the existing item is fixable. This is why I asked for a description of how it's broken.
ETA: And now that I've had a chance to look, the problem is exactly what I expected it to be. The only thing wrong with those futons is that they're old -- they were made before the Cats and Dogs EP came out, so the double beds won't work (they disappear when placed, which is what I was expecting the answer to my question would be) until you run the Cats and Dogs batchfix for objects on them in S4S, which is something most ordinary players can easily do.

Just watch out for Adfly on the recolors. (I have a browser extension that kills it off very thoroughly myself.)

To fix the Content beds, you need to have the latest version of sims 4 studios installed. Then you just go to Content Management,batch fix,click on Objects and Fix objects for Cats and Dogs patch.

You'll need the HSY Bed Slots batchfix also, and it's a good idea to run all object batchfixes EXCEPT the one for chairs on just about your entire Mods folder anyway (you have to be more careful with CAS batchfixes than that). |
