I noticed with the snowy escape patch default replacement bassinets don't seem to be working correctly anymore. While the baby is in the bassinet they always have the lightest skintone. While they are picked up they get the correct one. The problem doesn't happen with the EA bassinets. I've tried digging into this one myself but haven't gotten anywhere yet.
Anyone else come across this problem or have an idea how to fix it?

I have run into the same problem. After a long hiatus I decided to update my default replacement baby skins and thought I did something wrong. The problem turned out to be with the invisible crib mod I was using though. The babies in the crib will all use the same skin tone (which one seems to change depending on which invisible crib mod is used) - but will use the correct skin tone when picked up and held. I have tried various invisible crib mods, such as this fairly new one by PandaC on MTS as well as older mods, like LiKo's invisible crib. All with the same results. I am not exactly a modder myself, so I have no idea how to fix this, sadly. Would greatly appreciate any help!

martine The invisible crib overrides are using outdated bassinet files which contain the old skins with clothes still attached, etc. You will have to export the "invisible" bassinet mesh and textures and import them into a new bassinet file. The deco bassinets they include should be fine as well if you go in and delete the old skin texture resources there too.

Thanks so much for your reply - I fixed it! Going to upload my fixed version tonight and will post the link here as well. EDIT: The mod is available here!

I remade jokeplease's open bassinet and the babies are now showing the correct skins! I am having one problem though, when the baby is in the bassinet it has this weird blockyness I can't figure out.

Did you accidentally get the medium and high LODs switched around? But otherwise I'm not sure.

I just made some default replacements for bassinets, and babies themselves, a couple weeks ago too, and mine were blocky like that too, but when I took out the overrides they were still blocky so I had asssumed it was just the game. I have some pics in my screenshots folder from the babies before I added my stuff and they're blocky too, but they had another override on them then, to be fair.. Are they not blocky like that when you take out the baby overrides?

Are they not blocky like that when you take out the baby overrides? It happens with both with and without baby overrides. I exported the baby mesh from the EA bassinet and replaced it mine, but the baby is still blocky. A little less so, but still not as smooth as it is with no bassinet override.
