I am brand new to all of this. I have been trying to watch videos on how to create and a lot of the things being used is out of date and from 4 yrs ago. I want to know how to create a custom sim using meshes. I play another game regularly and found mods for all the characters, except 1. I have found his mod for the sims 2 and 3 but cannot find it for 4, so I want to try to create a thane mod for 4 but i don't know where to start. When I open the sims 4 studios and go into my projects, i cannot find the clip i am supposed to select. it also says it cannot find my blender, which i had already downloaded and installed. if anyone can help, let me know. I need to go to sleep now, i will check it out in the AM

Hi. If it's the creature from Mass effect you're trying to convert, like, the whole 3d model, then I suggest to not even bother because rigging the head is very challenging and time consuming task even for an experienced cc creator. What you can do instead is convert the outfit by following a conversion tutorial and then create a head preset using Morphmaker. Just try to find more recent tutorials that do not tell you to download Blender 2.7. You only need one version, 2.76-2.78. 2.8+ are not supported. However, if this is the only cc you plan on making, I suggest to not bother at all. While it does not take long to adapt something for s4s, there is a lot you need to understand and be aware of to make it function right. I do not think there is a tutorial that will teach you everything you'd need to know, otherwise we would not have that many people struggling to in the process of learning this

It is thane from ME2, not the Thorian creature. I don't know how I would make that .
