Hello!
I created an alpha hair that needs an extra geom to fix some transparency issues by using sim skin shader. I tried following the thread about adding extra geom for clothes because I cannot find one for hair, but every time I try duplicating the geom, editing the region map, then re-importing my blender file the 3D preview just shows the duplicated hair instead of the preview for the extra one I wanted.
I use geoms 0-2 for hair and 2 hat chops geoms 3-5 for extra geoms
I edited each region map entry from HairHatA to HairHatD and added my extra geoms key datas... But it still doesn't show my extra meshes from my blender file after I imported it. I also tried saving and closing and opening again, but it still only has the duplicated preview.
Is there like a tutorial on how to add extra geoms for hair? Because the one for clothes did not work for me... or maybe I just missed a step?
Please help me figure this out. Thank you so much.
Sorry if my sentences are a bit confusing, english is not my first language.

You don't need a separate tutorial for the hair, the one for the skirt works. How many CAS parts in your file do you have (how many swatches). Did you add GEOM's group number to each CAS part in your file?

For now I only have 1 swatch.
How do I edit the CAS Part and what do I put? Thank you so much for replying. :D
EDIT: I just tried it and it worked! OMG Thank you so much! ^^ I completely missed the CAS Part that's why it won't work.

Great! I also recently learned the hard way that when you add an extra geom you need to add it to every single CAS part otherwise it won’t work. I had to add it to 40 swatches...
