I've been having problems with my custom mesh in blender. All the other steps works perfectly but when i add the new custom content on game, the mesh seems to be sticking and wont move separately with the sims. Not sure if i explained that properly, im still new in custom creating. The problem seems to be only happen to TOP clothes and never for any of my Pants. :confused

Ive been trying to fix this problems myself but nothing seems to work so i finally decided to reach out and ask for help. Any help will be very much appreciated

Hi

I think the problem is that your weights are transfered in a way that sleeve weights are joined to the body part of the top. Mauvemorn have great tutorial how to avoid it: www.mauvemorn.net/post/180457268394/weighttransferposes

As Dissia said, the sleeves are being affected by vertex groups from the torso area. To avoid this, by default the bodies are always made in the T-pose ( or A-pose ). However, in-game, where the cloth is not dynamic, sims have they arms down normally. If you were to simulate the garment with loose sleeves or armpit area in the T-pose, the mesh will look odd with arms down. So to avoid that, you need to simulate the garment on the avatar with lowered arms.

Please watch this tutorial first before following and make sure to enable subtitles. The process will be confusing at first, but it all will make sense at the end. I'm warning you about it because I had people seek help before finishing the tutorial, thinking things were not working out. Another thing I must point out is that the avatar you replace should be identical to the avatar you import. This is something people also miss. If you downloaded the avatar from somewhere elsen instead of making your own, replace it first

4). Then make the rig visible and selectable, lower the arms, i showed this step in the video. Select the head, feet, the body again, export it again with the same settings as a separe file.
5). Open your scene in MD. Right-click on the avatar, choose delete all avatars. Import the first avatar with arm in the original pose in the scene (File- Add - Avatar). Then import the second avatar ( file - import ). This is also in the video. Since they are identical, they will morph
