Hey everyone, does anyone know how to update custom skintones to show up in the new CAS? I tried to use this link: sims4studio.com/thread/23196/skin-tone-issue-flagsbut could not access it. All I get is: "You do not have permission to access this thread. " Thank you for the help in advance  |

The directions in that thread were incomplete; they didn't add proper slider functionality, and they didn't work on skintones that had never been updated for Island Living. When I discovered that and didn't have time to update them, I recommended people use a different program that automated the process and included the missing steps, and the entire thread was deleted because of that. Since there hasn't been any word on whether S4S will also make the process easier for folks less familiar with the internal organs of their CC (it's just changing a few text fields, very simple when you know which ones they are, but since EA hasn't shared the technical details of the new CASPart Resource, the fields don't have any names, just codes like F1, U1, etc.), I could write up some new directions if you still need them.

Hi there, hope this thread is still active.
Custom skin tones are not showing up in my game. The input fields of S4S in the tutorial linked above have changed in the new 2023 version.
I have looked all over the internet and tried everything and nothing is working. All the fixes were in 2020. I'm hoping there is a new fix I can try.
