Hi, I'm VERY new to CC so apologies in advance! I've watched the "Basic Mesh Editing" tutorial from Illogicalsims which is brilliant. Basically you combine a swimsuit and shorts in blender and that's all hunky dory! Then it comes to exporting the textures (shorts and swimsuit) from S4S, on the tutorial Illogicalsims uses Gimp for the texture editing, and when he loads the two textures they automatically merge together which is great, can do that. But I have photoshop and am more comfortable with photoshop, and can't seem to replicate this step. When I open the two textures (DDS files) in photoshop they obviously open as two files, but how do I make them merge which seems so easy on gimp? Sorry this is more of a photoshop question but it seems more specific to the sims community haha I also don't know how to share images on here to show you my screenshot :( maybe I'm too old to start figuring out Sims cc now but lockdown persists!!!

Old geezer huh? Yeah, I know the feeling. No response in three days? I'm not sure what you mean by merging the two image files. Not many programs handle dds, but gimp, PS, P.Net will. There could be reasons you want to work in dds, but it may be easier to work in png. Opening the images in two layers and merging them should get you where you want to go. I think. If that's where you wanted go. Did you want a pair of shorts with a swimsuit on top of them?
