I’m having trouble with a few custom meshes. I’ve been working on two frankenmeshes for a specific Sim. I just tested them on him in CAS, and this happened: They both look fine in S4S and Blender. I thought it was a problem with feminine-framed male Sims, so I tested them on two of my other Sims, with similar results: The second mesh is so distorted that I can’t use it on anyone. It almost looks like I accidentally replaced the LOD0 with the LOD3, but I’m sure I didn’t. There’s some weird shading at the back too. The first one was made from yfTop_EP06BoatNeck, yfTop_SweaterCrewBasic (long sleeves and bottom of shirt) and ymTop_EF16ShirtTeePride (chest area - I can easily make another version for female Sims) The second one was made from ymTop_ShirtTucked (collar and slightly edited shoulders) and Grimcookies’ adult male conversion of cfTop_EP09SweaterStriped (his TOU said it was okay to use). I’ve also made a longer version of yfBottom_EP08JeansAccented, but I’m having trouble with the weights. When a Sim wears them in-game, the end of one leg moves inwards: Here’s what the weights look like right now: (I’ve temporarily joined all the pieces together.) If someone could tell me how to fix these problems, that would be great!

I do not have one, sorry. If you have gmail account, you can create a folder in the google disk that comes with it, drop files there, then RMB-click on the folder, choose Share, then choose Change to anyone with a link, then press Copy link and share with us. If you do not have it, there is dropbox, mediashare and similar website

Sorry for the wait! Here are the files. I tried to edit the first frankenmesh because I thought I'd worked out what was wrong with it, so there are two versions of it. (If the first one still has the black lines in-game, ignore them. I know how to fix that.) link

Ryo layered shirt was edited in a way that messed up uv_1. The weights in the fingers area are also messed up, this can be fixed by frankenmeshing hands. The mesh is vertex painted with a wrong color, should be 00ff00. I don't have it in me to explain 20 minutes worth of moving vertices, but if you want to learn how to edit uvs, there are tutorials for blender on youtube. Here's a fixed blend and package file The uv_1 in the jumper is messed up the same way. There is an area painted by the wrong color in vertex paint. This one you should just remake because fixing uvs would take much longer than with the first one. As for the jeans, you imported a mesh made of 4 meshgroups in the package that has 3. Find pants that are long enough to have 4 meshgroups and clone them

I tested the Ryo shirt in-game and ran into more issues: * Mesh groups 1 and three have gaps around the edges, and move with the shoulder slider: * The bottom of the shirt doesn’t morph with the hip slider * The waist and arm sliders don’t work at all * The first time I tried the chest slider, it changed the shirt back to the one he was wearing before. After that, it acted like it would on a female Sim, instead of recognising that he was male like most feminine clothing meshes would. Thanks for fixing the uv_1, though. I completely forgot about that. ^^; Which pants would you recommend? If there are any suitable ones from DU, I’d prefer to use those, since I didn’t really change that much from the originals, so I’m not sure about making them BGC.

UUghh, sorry, had Maya running in the background, which takes forever to close and open, and maya + the sims 4 is a deadly combo for my pc, didn't check it in-game So why these things happen: - the gaps are because I transferred weights to the main body but forgot about the little things, so they are affected by bones differently - the mesh is not morphing properly bc I wrote to vertex paint it with a different color but did not do it myself lol New package and blend

All the sliders work now! There is a small part of the hem of the shirt that sticks out a bit, but otherwise, it’s pretty much perfect. I just need to add an actual spec map and maybe adjust the stripes. Thanks for your help!
