I cannot seem to find where to put some of the stuff I used since the last 2 updates. No mods folder in S4S files anymore, and when I make one myself it seems to not work. Trying to use skin overrides to minimize the under garments. Kinda hard to work with tattoos etc with those huge drawers, bras, and panties.

Can you locate your Sims 4 folder? Can you find your Mods folder in your Sims 4 folder? Do you have the Resource.cfg inside of it? Are you using the standard set-up or some sort of mod to switch between different folders? Double-check where you've been downloading things as well. Make sure your browser didn't default to the generic download folder instead of your Mods folder.

Make sure your browser didn't default to the generic download folder instead of your Mods folder. Not having an issue with mods in Sims 4, I am not getting something to work on Sims4Studio. S4S (Sims4Studio) has always had a mods folder of it's own in the my docs area, where I can put files for use in it. But since two updates ago, there is no mods folder for S4S, and when I create one it still will not use the files like it used to. Specifically, I have an override that reduces the size of the underwear of the model so I can work with things like tattoos and see their placements better.

Okay. Double-check that the Resource.cfg file is in the Mods folder that you use exclusively with S4S. If you delete that file from the official folder, the Sims 4 should create a new one the next time that you open your game but only in the Mods folder that the game is using. Sims4Studio doesn't create one for you, so if you accidentally deleted it from the other mods folder, then S4S may have trouble recognizing your CC. If there's a Resource.cfg file in the other mods folder, it's possible that your override needs to be updated. You may want to double-check that everything in that folder is as up-to-date as your in-game mods folder. Unless you're saying that the S4S mods folder is somehow getting deleted regularly? In which case, more details would be helpful, but I have no idea what would cause that.

It is not getting deleted, it is just plain not there when I install the new versions, and when I create one myself it is getting ignored it seems.

Have you tried completely uninstalling S4S and reinstalling it, and have you tried telling your antivirus/security software to let S4S do things (like write to the hard drive)? I'd try the latter before the former at this point.

Yes to both.

When you uninstalled S4S, did you make sure the entire S4S directory in My Documents was gone, so that it had to create a completely new one when you reinstalled it?

Glad to be of help! I had a feeling that either the permissions issue still existed (in which case reinstalling would likely not have created a new S4S folder at all, making it very obvious) or, as turned out to be the case, the cause of the permissions issue had been solved, but the permissions in the existing directory were still all mucked up (in which case deleting the directory and forcing the new install to create it from scratch would likely, and apparently did, fix the problem).
