Hey, I'm very new at modding with TS4, as I got the game for pc near Christmas. So I edited a cc hair to fit perfectly for my sim, and it looks great in Blender and on the Studio! However, every time I go into the game (after trying to fix it) it looks the exact same as the original hairstyle. Can anyone please help? I've been on the creating your world stage of playing and this is basically one of the final step. I would love for this to finally work! I need all the help I can get!
(DISCLAIMER: I in now way, shape, or form, take credit for the original mesh. As far as I know, it's frowned upon to share meshes that aren't yours and even more so if you edit them a little and call it yours. Yes I did edit it, but the hair is NOT mine, and once we figure out the problem, I van remove the .package file so it can't be downloaded again. This hair is intended for personal use. Sorry guys.)
Here is the file: (Sorry, yall I did say I would remove it)

Hi. I am not exactly sure which is the original and which is the desired results. Please always share the blend and the package, what we export differs from what you imported. Pictures are also needed. As I understand, you edited s4studio_mesh_1 to be shorter but left the rest the same. Or did you only have 1 meshgroup in the blend? In CAS, did you try the hair with the hat? Did you just open the original package and re-imported the edited blends or did you clone/save as the original?

Ok Sorry, Here are the Blends (Short hair being original, longer being the edit) Hi, I'm a Blend! So, as for what I'm trying to do, I'm trying to make the hair longer. But in the game it remains short, which it isn't the plan here. I checked to see if hats work, and I honestly got some mixed results. tbh I lowkey have no clue what is going on lol. Anyways, here are photos what they look like being in the Studio and In Game. I'm Wanted! (Studio, what I actually want) Yeah, about me tho... (Studio, what the original hair looks like) I'm In the Game, try topping that! (pics of how the hair looks like in game/on my sim) As you will notice, It's the original hair in game, and it's slightly different when the baseball cap and others is on, but its still short. Yet, when wearing the Santa hat and the backwards cap, I see my longer hair (with all its clipping glory lol). I also originally cloned and saved the original, but (me being stupid) I saved it over the original thinking that would make it work, sorry. I hope this helps you to help me!

Oh, you've just edited the wrong mesh. So hair items are made of 3 meshgroups: the original shape ( has cut number 0002 ) and hat chops ( 0001 and 0000 ). When you put a hat on a sim, the game switches the mesh to the appropriate one so that it does not clip into the hat. s4s does not function like the game, it previews all 3 meshgroups at the same time. When you export the mesh, all three meshgroups are visible. If you will hide the ones with 0000 and 0001 cut numbers, you''ll see the original shape you need to change.
