So most of you probably know the iconic nintendo ds series: Style Savvy. Well I want to create a mod that let's you essentially turn the Sims 4 into Style Savvy.
The premise of the game is that you come in to the game working for a boutique owner, and that boutique owner passes the boutique onto you. In the game you have to style characters based on their personal preferences and the prompt they've given you for why they are coming in to buy something new. These prompts, just for an example are like: "Someone ran into me and spilled coffee on my shirt and I need a new one," or "I'm going on an important date tomorrow, I want a full outfit." You have to stock your boutique with clothes that you buy wholesale from a special place. I don't know how to mod but I am looking to collaborate with somebody who does, or at the very least am looking to see if this mod is even possible.
I'm assuming this mod would work off of Get to Work's retail system and the stylist career that they released before Get Famous.
My ideas for this mod are as follows:
1. Create a set amount (100 or so) of prompts that will pop up when you go to assist a customer. (I will create the prompts)
2. Create a way to make a wholesale shop through the computer or through a physical store, that you buy clothing from.
3. Create a system that tracks how many copies of a clothing item you buy, and let's you only use in your boutique however many copies that you bought from the wholesaler.
4. Find a way to limit the clothing that you have in your boutique; being able to only use the clothing you've purchased from the wholesale provider.
5. Use the already existing in game clothing categories, such as fabric, color, color palette, archetype to allow customers to ask for a specific category of clothing along with their prompt.
6. Edit already made custom content in sims 4 studio so that the categories are properly sorted (ex. pair of cc blue jeans have color: blue and fabric: denim) (I can do this)
I know this is a very ambitious project but I love style savvy and the sims, and I would love to see this mod happen for the sims, I think a lot of people would love to play it.
