I'm not an expert at using blender, but I've learned by trial and error. Without seeing your .blend file I have a couple suggestions: Did you triangulate your mesh after you created the cubes? (there is a 'Triangulate' modifier under the tools menu). You can also try to split your edges (edge split from the 'specials' menu). Or, if all your edges are already split, you can try to 'remove doubles' (remove any extra vertices). Also, the white edges *may be because (if you based a texture off of an ambient occlusion file) you didn't leave a margin around your AO 'bake' of at least one or two pixels. I hope this helps. Welcome to the Wonderful World of Blending!!! ;-)

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Blending!!! ;-) I didn't triangulate the mesh at the beginning, but after your suggestion I did it by hand by dissolving edges and vertices and then by substituting each face with two triangles (I did it by myself because the triangulate tool did weird things with my mesh and I didn't know how to manage it). Also, I tried to remove doubles, but there were none. Now I re-mapped my mesh, retextured and reimported it and besides the problems with the texture which doesn't fit well (but that I will fix later) I don't have the clipping issue anymore but I still have the shining... I did leave a margin in my bake, but I suppose now that the problem is that when I bake I select "Ambient Occlusion" instead of "Full Render". Should try this way. Thank you woodsfairy, your suggestions were precious
