Hi! Today I've created 3D eyelashes and I think I did everything right, but there's still one little problem. When I go test it in game there's a couple of vertices on the top and bottom lashes that seem to stick to the eyeball instead of eyelid. And it happens only when I move or resize the eyeball. When eyes move with animations these vertices doesn't move with it. I changed vertex paint, uv_1 and weight paint a lot of time, tried to test mesh without uv_1, vertex paint and without weight painting. I remade package a few times using different base meshes. I've tried literally everything I can think of... So at this point I am very confused what exactly causing it, but my guess is vertex paint, because when I import mesh without any vertex painting the problem goes away. But this way the lashes don't stick to the eyelids at all. I would be eternally grateful if someone could help me because my brain isn't working anymore Here is the picture of what exactly is happening: And here is my package file: simfileshare.net/download/2361841/

Hi. Please check this thread. The only difference seems to be in the head bone and vertex colors. Start from vertex colors

Hi. Please check this thread. The only difference seems to be in the head bone and vertex colors. Start from vertex colors I've tried to import mesh without head bone weights and it didn't worked. Also I've tried different vertex paint colors (007F3F, 007F3F on the base and 007f00 for the rest, just 007f00, even 0000FF) but every vertex paint seem to work the same way and give the same problem.

Ok so, it's not weights, uvs or vertex paint. It seems to be related to where in the 3d space the vertex is when it is vertex painted with 007f3f. This color makes the painted area be affected by morphs in the Detail Edit mode. I do not know how exactly does it work but look: On the left bottom eyelashes of the sim you can see that 3 vertices morph with the eye ( again, uv_1 has no effect on it, i checked ). On the right side I tried moving these vertices around a bit to see what would happen, one of them was fixed. Then I tried moving the right side down and the left side away from the head, the problematic areas changed completely. I changed nothing else, only the position of vertices in space Tbh do not know what to do other than try to move the vertices a bit to find the sweet spot........

Okay, so I remade a topology a little bit which allowed me to reduce polycount in twice and then I moved the lashes on the Y axis a little bit more far away from the eye and now it's working perfectly. Thank you so much for helping me figure out what was wrong!
