Oh, sorry, the original does have it. But nothing actually changes if it's removed. So, my edit only has the diffuse one.

The normal map is missing only for me because i do not have the original that contains the referenced textures. Try this

One last thing I can think of is that maybe the necklace’s textures or of something else are projecting on the hair. Try taking everything off the sim

It didn't help either. Now, I think it's connected to the fact that I've been saving the diffuse texture as .png all along. Unfortunately, I cannot import the .dds diffuse texture. What is actually happening is that red pixels that I got rid of via Photopea appear while zooming out.

It actually happens with every Maxis Match hair I try to recolor. Even if I just save a base game color and do not change it, and then import it back again, it ends up having the issue with the red pixels and shadows.
