In pursuit of feminine clothes that fit the male frame correctly, I've embarked on melding the feminine and male frames together so I can start adapting clothing to it. I want this base to be right so I can make things correctly. I've done my absolute best to follow all tutorials I've found, followed mauvemorn 's vertex painting tutorial (thank you so much for all you do, if you see this!) though the skin tight and skirt vertex paint colors look identical to my poor old eyes So here I have my blend file, but my question is, can I transfer weights from a female UV_1 (full body with skirt cuts) to properly weight this? Is there a difference between male and female frames as far as that goes? Thank you to anyone who answers me, I realize it must be frustrating with so many people asking so many questions all the time. Your help and expertise are much appreciated! (Hopefully the blend link works!) Blend file

Hi. Weights and uvs are two different things. Weights are for rigging (movements, animation), uv_1 is for morphing (sliders, body mass).
You can transfer weights or uvs from skirts for the feminine frame to the masculine with no problem, they do not have to match perfectly. The problem would be in the upper body area. So what you can do is simply separate the skirt from the recipient, transfer weights/uvs to it, then join it back with your mesh, and remove doubles in in the place where they were separated

mauvemorn thank you for your reply! I'm trying my very best to get a handle on this so I can sort out how to fix this issue for masculine-framed sims! I hope I can get there somehow and some way! Thank you again for always being so helpful! ♥♥♥

I think you need to paint the mesh with 3fff00 a bit higher so that the transition looks smoother
