Makeup catalog thumbnail doesn't appear but saves in S4S

Hey everyone! So I hopped on to start making a new lipstick and the catalog thumbnail saves my placeholder thumbnail, but when I log into Sims, it just has the default lip swatch, which makes finding the lipstick *extremely* tedious. I'll go into S4S after quitting the game and it shows my placeholder thumbnail, but it just doesn't carry over into the game. It's even weirder because it works on an eyeliner I'm working on, it's just this lipstick. I could definitely just start over but ideally I'd like to troubleshoot this. I have the latest version of S4S and my game is fully updated. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
