I said I would share this here when it was done and here I am. I do apologise that I shared it over at MTS and tumblr first as without Studio and these forums I wouldn't have had a chance. The file fixes the metal garden arches that are found in the public neighbourhood spaces. Their mesh is borked and is a combination of both a high and low detail mesh as a single group. I removed the low detail bits so the poly count is quite a bit lower now and it looks a heck of a lot better. I also added it to the catalogue and made three extra recolours. So that I don't have multiple versions of the same file making their rounds on the internet, you can download this from MTS here> bootstrap.modthesims.info/download.php?t=561651

Hi menaceman44, I saw this great fix you made and I had to wonder, once again, what was EA thinking? Nice work on the repair

I think the problem is that they weren't thinking at the time.

I think I need to look at what object tuning this is using as well as you can't set it for sale if you try to do so in a retail lot.

If anyone is interested, I updated the file so that it works with the retail system now and can be sold. This wasn't possible with the original version. The download is in the same place on MTS as before.
