I know there's already a thread for fixing antivirus issues, but I don't have AVG or Avast. My antivirus programs are Windows 10 Defender and Webroot. Can I please have a tutorial on how to whitelist S4S on these antivirus programs, but explained like I'm five?

Not sure about Webroot, but on Windows 10 the process is:
Click on the windows icon on your task bar Click on the settings icon (it looks like a cog) In the window that opens, there's a search bar. Search for 'virus & threat protection'.
On the new page, go down to where it says 'Virus & threat protection settings' and click on the blue link that says 'manage settings'.
On the new page, scroll down to where it says 'Exclusions' and click on the blue link that says 'Add or remove exclusions'.
On the new page, there will be a grey box that says "+ Add an exclusion', click on it and click 'Folder' form the drop-down menu.
A navigation window will open, go to where your Sims 4 Studio folder is located, click on the folder, and then click the button on the bottom of the navigation window that says 'Select Folder'. (Mine was located in C:\Users\MyName\Documents\Sims 4 Studio.)
That should be it.
