So I'm kind of a neat freak when it comes to my game. I like to use CAS hiders to hide all of the hairs I don't use or think are ugly (mainly a lot of earlier hairs that came with BG, GTW, etc). The hiders that I used worked great up until the patch came out on the 27th and broke them all. I kind of figured this was going to happen but I didn't think it would be near impossible to fix? I know how to use S4S to hide CAS items and have never had a problem doing it before but for some reason no matter what I do, the hairs I'm trying to hide still show up. I've literally unchecked every single box possible, made sure the files are overrides, etc. I have the 'show in cas' box unticked too but they're still showing. Any ideas?

Hi, I was able to hide a base game hair in CAS by making an override and unchecking "Show in UI" on every CASpart. Or do you mean they still show up when randomizing? (I haven't used hiders before.) Can you give an example of a hair that you can't hide?

I've *kind* of narrowed down my issue? It seems that some hairs will hide for masculine frame sims but not feminine frame sims, even though I have made sure to uncheck those boxes when editing the package. One of the hairs I'm having issue with currently is ym_MohawkPunk. It doesn't show up when creating male sims, but still shows up for female sims. Nothing I do will hide it and I never had this issue before the patch. A couple other hairs I'm having problems with: ym_PonyTail, ym_Fauxhawk and ym_DreamyCrew.

Mine seem to work ok. Here's how I made them (using S4S 3.1.5.1): 1. Make a separate package for the male & female versions of each hairstyle. Put in a folder and run the batch fixes to disallow for random and disallow for each occult. 2. In Categories tab leave Age & Gender Flags, Hair Color and "Restrict Opposite Frame" as-is. Uncheck everything else. 3. In the Warehouse, check everything under "HideForOccultFlags" and uncheck everything under "PartFlags" for each CAS Part. Here are the packages if you want to use them or see what I did.

It worked! Thanks so much. I guess some of the hairs need a package for both male and female and some don't? Almost all of the newer hairs (Snowy Escape, Paranormal, etc) have hidden just fine for me with only one package. Oh well, at least I got it fixed. It's been driving me bonkers all weekend. Thanks again!
