Greetings, Sims 4 Studio Community.
I am planning on making an override that simply hides certain meals from my game. I want to, for example, hide the Franks and Beans from Outdoor Retreat as it can make my non-Slob Sims break character once they use it. Is there a way for me to successfully hide certain meals from my game? I tried to do it manually but I still had the option to cook the Franks and Beans even though I made sure it was an override. Perhaps I either did it wrong, or it's impossible to hide certain food items from your game?
Best regards,
- Christian

It sounds like you are overriding the food object and not the tunings. You have to remove the recipe from it's cooking affordance instead. You will need XML File Finder and Extractor as it will allow you to browse by reference. This means you can enter "franks" into the search bar and the recipes will appear, you can then right click on each recipe to see which cooking interaction it comes from and add that interaction to your package to override it.

Good to know. Is there a specific tutorial on how to achieve said override so that I can follow it step by step and successfully override the meal from my game entirely, never to be seen again?

No, otherwise I would have linked it. Here is a general override tutorial though, that covers how to add the tuning to your package at least. This is one of the interactions: e882d22f!00000000!00000000000088d2.grill_StartCrafting.interaction.xml Inside the interaction is a section called "recipes" with a list of every available recipe, just delete the line "<T>102590<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_FranksAndBeans_Grill-Large--></T>" <L n="recipes"> <T>75374<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_HotDog-Large--></T> <T>75398<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_VeggieBurger-Large--></T> <T>75401<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_TofuDog-Large--></T> <T>75380<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_Chicken-Large--></T> <T>75384<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_Salmon-Large--></T> <T>75392<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_Steak-Large--></T> <T>35059<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Hamburger-Large--></T> <T>116798<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_SausageAndPeppers-Large--></T> <T>102385<!--Recipe: Recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_BakedPotato-Large--></T> <T>102390<!--Recipe: Recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_GrilledFruit-Large--></T> <T>102378<!--Recipe: Recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_ShishKebabs-Large--></T> <T>102562<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_FriedFish_Grill_Large--></T> <T>102585<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Gumbo_Grill-Large--></T> <T>102578<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_BreakfastScramble_Grill-Large--></T> <T>102598<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_CampersStew_Grill-Large--></T> <T>102590<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_FranksAndBeans_Grill-Large--></T> <T>102594<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_FruitCobbler_Grill-Large--></T> <T>102602<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_WalleyeSurprise_Grill-Large--></T> <T>175058<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_AncientSicknessCure_Grill_Single--></T> <T>177411<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_JungleFood_Curanto_Large--></T> <T>235813<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_EcoRecipe_MealwormDog-Large--></T> <T>236337<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_TomatoSoup_Grill_Small--></T> <T>236409<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_ForagerStew_Grill_Large--></T> <T>236694<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_FrogHotPot_Grill_Large--></T> <T>237162<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_FishOnAStick_Grill_Single--></T> <T>237184<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_LeafWrappedFish_Grill_Large--></T> <T>251717<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_ChimichurriSkewers_Large--></T> <T>251829<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_Asado_Large--></T> <T>251849<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_GrilledPlantains_Large--></T> <T>251867<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_Pinchos_Large--></T> <T>251877<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_Choripan_Large--></T> <T>251913<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_Elote_Large--></T> <T>251921<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_PolloALaBrasa_Large--></T> <T>251931<!--Recipe: recipe_Food_Homestyle_Grill_Chimi_Large--></T> </L> Stuff like e882d22f!00000000!000000000000344b.fridge_Cook.interaction.xml have huge lists, click inside the area and then use Ctrl + F to search. The other grill interaction is: e882d22f!00000000!00000000000097db.grill_StartCraftingAutonomously.interaction.xml Here are the cook interactions for stove (ignore the right side called References To):
