S4S error but can't reply to thread?

So I'm getting an error when trying to do batch fixes but I found the bug & error thread and I can't reply to it. I don't know what else to do so I'm posting here and maybe someone can help or direct me where to go. It's giving me the error that S4S can't access the folder that it needs: Logs. I got a popup saying that Windows Security had blocked the action so I went in and added it to the list of allowed apps through controlled folder access but that didn't seem to work. I tried turning controlled folder access off and that didn't work. I also have Windows Defender and it didn't work when I turned that off. Apparently I have IOBit installed as well but my dad said that's for malware and not antivirus as this error says? So I have no idea how to fix it. The link provided in the error message only has AVG and Avast. 

I have version 3.1.5.1. This screenshot was taken before I updated it because I realized maybe that was the issue but then after downloading the newest one it's still doing this.
