Hi. What type of mods did you make?

With Mod Constructor I create traits for sims and lots, rabbit hole careers and aspirations. Unfortunately the creator of this mod won't update it anymore and I've been told that I could update my mods with the sims 4 studio. Is it possible?

There might be faster ways of updating the type of mods that you have, but here’s a general tutorial Here’s the one for traits (although it is pretty old)

Did you test the mods to make sure they aren't broken, or did someone report problems? There were no major changes this patch, so your mods should be fine if they were made with the most up-to-date version of Mod Constructor and were working before this patch. The best thing to do when a patch hits is keep up with Zerbu's Discord server since you use MC, and join a modding community Discord server. When something changes in a patch we all discuss what it is and post possible fixes, etc. If something from Mod Constructor is broken because of a patch (like the trait 32bit issue back in November), it will be posted about (usually with manual workarounds in S4S), Zerbu will be contacted by one of his server helpers, and then he will update MC when he can to account for it. So he still updates it, just only when necessary (though he did say last week that he has a general update coming). But yes you can update your mods from MC in S4S, but as I said there were no major changes this patch to cause breakage so there really isn't anything to update. I recommend testing in-game and if you encounter problems post about it here or in the associated servers as it means something wasn't setup right when making it (I recommend the servers though, I'm usually the only modder who pops in regularly to the forums and I don't use MC). The traits tutorial linked was only for the pets patch back in 2017, the other one is more for override mods and won't really help with MC unless you based your mod on an existing EA system or know what to look for.

Hi 😊 I think that maybe I have a problem with one of my careers 🤔 To be promoted my sims need something that I haven't programmed.. Actually a type of floor 🤷🏻♀️ I can't send a screenshot from mobile phone.. Thank you anyway for your help 😊

A floor? What do you mean?

Yes, in the section where there are usually the actions to be promoted, there's a type of cc floor that I have in my mods folder, but it's strange because I didn't write it when I made the career. I can't upload the screenshot, I took a photo with my phone

I'm not sure what you mean still. Are you saying you want a requirement for promotion to be the CC floor you have? I've not heard of an object requirement before, but then again I don't play much. I would recommend asking in one of the servers if you're trying to add an object requirement, specifically Zerbu's since you're making it in MC.

Ok thank you. I think it is better if I wait the program update and then export the careers again, maybe there's something in contrast
