Thank you! But I know how to knit, I do not know to what you need to bind the bones.

The joint list is to make it easier for people who are making new meshes to select a joint for weighting a CAS item if they are moving its location. hi,I want to make an acc that is placed on the chest, what should I do and which bones should I assign for this?and if there are other things to do like vertex paint(in order to game recognize it as a part of the boy or not)It would be great if u help me with that?!

Greetings Everyone. I apologies if this place it isn't the correct place for asking this, but anyone know how to move the "b__CAS_L_Breast__" "b__CAS_R_Breast__" I make some animations and move that bones. But sadly in game that bones remains stuck. Thanks to everyone. :D

kk123 it depends what are you looking for. If you open any CAS item with s4s and export the mesh, the skeleton (rig) and the model (mesh) will automatically appear with it in blender (if you use clothes you may have missing body parts, but if you export accessories this won't happen). If you don't want CAS items you can open the Animation tab and export the model you need (adult female, adult male, child, toddler).

Hi, I have a question and I'm not sure where to ask it. But I've noticed when I try to create a full body outfit and I want to add the shoes in there, the feet of the rig show through. So I can never add the shoes on the outfit because it'll cause that glitch. I've recently figured out I can hide the rig in blender for better visibility but deleting or hiding parts of the rig, then saving and importing into the sims 4 studio doesn't get rid of that part in the sims 4 studio. Right now I'm working on a project where I'm creating a costume for a medium sized dog. (This is all new territory for me so it'll probably fail horribly but I'm hoping you can help). So I'm creating a dragon outfit without the front paws. However in blender the feet are part of the rig and hiding or deleting them doesn't get rid of the front feet (just the feet, cause the legs weren't part of the rig) Do you know if it's possible to get rid of that? I really want to make my dragon with just hind legs and wings. Hope you can help.

kikisimlive Hi! I doubt you can do something like this for Dogs, unless you create "big" paws that automatically hide the default ones. If you are working with sims, the feet are always separate from the outfit, if you want to include them you have to create invisible feet (or download one, I have made them with my first mermaid tail and also Mermansimmer has his own) to pair with your outfit.

AleNik thanks for the quick reply ah I see. That's given me an idea though. Maybe I could do the no paws for the dog.

kikisimlive I don't think you can, if I don't remember wrong there aren't presets or clothes that change paws in any way. For example for sims you can create a "no ears" presets that goes in ear category and works as genetic ears, or you can do invisible shoes because that part of the sim is "controlled" by the shoes category in CAS, but for Dogs I don't remember anything like that for paws. They aren't genetic nor have a specific CAS category.

I do have some custom content by Liam Sim that affects the ears and tail, like a double tail double ears. In the worse case scenario I'll have to make my baby dragon a quadruped instead of a bipedal. My baby dragon mesh is starting to look so good though. I really hope I can make it work :D There is an item called: alShoes_Nude 0000000000024567 EP04_CatsAndDogs SortOrder0-0 and when I load it in Blender the studio file is of the feet. Would I be able to create a no paw with this? I just tried leaving one vertex and importing the mesh back to get rid of the feet, but I got an error message.... so that was obviously not how that worked

kikisimlive uhm, to be honest I haven't worked that much with Pets, but I've just checked now, in any outfit for pets paws aren't affected, legs are, but no paws (meaning that you can't make them disappear while wearing a costume). TheKalino was able to do skeleton outfits for pets, and from what I saw in a video paws are affected too. From what I saw my best guess it's something related to transparency and SimGlass material, but you totally should ask them for advice [their tumblr]. I have never talked to them but there's no damage in trying

I did have a look at just removing the front paws of that foot package and that worked. but I haven't tested it in game yet. I uploaded my dragon mesh over just the body package and indeed the head, ears, tail and feet are showing. I've posted a picture on my website creativengine.wixsite.com/simlive/home/i-m-very-happy-with-my-baby-dragon-mesh-however-i-still-have-a-lot-to-figure-outI'll definitely see if I can get in contact with TheKalino :D:D:D hopefully they might be able to help. Otherwise I do have a back up plan for my project. but it's not nearly as cool as what I'm attempting now Thanks again :D very much appreciated.
