Okay so I've made a few cc items with S4S and they worked fine and showed up in the game, but recently everything I make doesn't appear in game. All my cc so far has just been EA recolors. I need help :(

Have you put the files in the game's Mods folder (Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods)? Putting the files in the Mods folder for S4Studio won't work. Have you enabled CC? Installing a new EP/SP/GP or updating the game can turn off CC, so make sure you turn it back on and then restart your game. Have you avoided special characters in filenames? (the latest patch suggested adding these {} to filenames made those files invisible ingame - which has been patched now - but avoiding special characters and spaces has always been a smart move. Simple A-Z letters, numbers and underscores are generally the safest to use).
It's possible some files need updating with the new patches, but you'll probably have to check the latest Studio update for that. If it's just basic clothing recolors I wouldn't think this is necessary, but you never know. Some items were fixed with the latest patch(es?) so it's possible recolors would need some fixing, too.

There was recently an update to TS4, updates turn off mods and CC. Maybe that's what happened? You would just have to go back into option and turn them back on.

Ah, thank you. I was accidently putting it the S4S mods folder and not the actual sims 4 mods folder.
