Download (no package file yet): www.simfileshare.net/download/2615105/Hi. So far I had always followed through adjusting clothes according to this . But so far despite adjusting for 4 days, the sleeve beneath (only the armpit area) always seems to be giving me issues as it end up distorted: All of this was done with enabled proportional editing, even without it the results remain the same. Oh yeah, in case you needed a new dress mesh to check out the problem, I added in a spare dress above the avatar. :-D

Hi. The way you flattened the breast made the whole area assymetrical. You have to re-do that, but before you start, make sure to isolate the chest ( select a few faces on it, Ctrl L to select the rest, Shift H to isolate the selected area, after you're done, press Alt H to reveal the rest )

Yes, the proportional editing must have affected that area. If you were to flip the left side of the shirt and move it to the right, you’ll see what I mean. They are not symmetrical beyond just the obvious parts

Hold on, I thought you re-shaped the chest unevenly first then changed the arm possition, but now that i'm fitting the original dress to the child's form, i don't see why were you changing the arm pisition in the first place. Do not move, scale or rotate a 3d model in Object mode. Blender is very strange about it and so it s4s. Even if you will apply or reset those transformations, it may still behave like it's in a different place. - delete the edited dress; - Object - Snap - Cursor to Center; - Add - Mesh - Plane; - select the original dress for adults, Object - Transform - Origin to 3d cursor; - Shift-select the added plane ( IN THIS ORDER! ), join them. Now whatever transformations you did to the dress are trully reset; - select the dress, switch to edit mode, select the added plane, delete it; - in edit mode resize the dress to fit the body; - once done, select the shirt only, separate it with P - Selection; - select the separated mesh, delete one half of it, add Mirror modifier, enable Clipping; - edit the shape of the shirt to fit the body, apply Mirror modifier; - edit the uvs so that they do not overlap; - transfer uv_1, weights, do the vertex paint, etc

The reason for me to change the arm position was when I tried to fit the original dress on the child sim, the sleeves are lot longer than I wanted for my child sim. In addition to that, the skirt was longer than I expected (i also wanted a shorter skirt), so I shrunk it but as a result, I had to readjust the arm position and it ended up looking too distorted underneath the armpit.

That’s not the solution. Just select the end of the sleeve, enable proportional editing and move it diagonally (like, along the arm) to make it shorter instead of scaling it in any way

Hi, when you adjusted the dress in the pic, was is excessively large?

No, it was a bit bigger than it should be, but not by much. It did not really fit well to the body in the front or back bc the torso of the adult is more curvy than that of a child. Fit it approximately like in the pic and reshape it afterwards to cover the body that pokes out
