Hello I'm having some trouble with a recolor for which I have to not include the mesh. In short, When I change its Normal texture the mesh gets included. In more details : I made the recolor using Create Cas Standalone. I followed the Create a Standalone Recolor of Custom Content tutorial but when I tested it in game (to make sure the mesh wasn't included) after removing the original file from my Mod folder, it still showed up. I read all the message from people having a similar problem on the thread without finding a solution. I tried to start making the recolor again checking warehouse after each step and that's when I realised all the Geometry and Region map thingies where appearing only when I changed or cleared the Normal. I then tried a few things that did not work such as deleting the geometry (in this case whether the original file was in my Mod or not, the recolor was showing up as invisible in CAS) and trying to make a recolor of my recolor (in that case I needed the 1st recolor for the 2nd to show up properly so not what I wanted). Sadly the recolor won't look right with the original Normal texture so I'm a bit stuck ... So is this normal or is it a bug I should report ? Is there a workaround ? Thank you Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi. Normal maps are tied to geometry, so that must be why. Either way, not a bug
I assume you could reference them somehow but it's best to wait for someone else to chime in who knows more about these things
