I'm creating cuytom sytled looks according to MizoreYukii's post www.patreon.com/posts/527544751. Thumbnails: Everything they explained worked perectly but I'm having issues with the parts that weren't explained in detail. According to their post it is possible to create custom thumbnails for custom styled looks (step 23). I'm stuck on the importing part. I can import a picture into S4S but I don't know how to connect the thumbnail and the swatch. I tried matching the instance but it doesn't seem to work and I'm out of ideas. 2. Names: Again, my issue is with the part that isn't explained by them (step 20). How do I know which tuning ressource I need? The tutorials don't seem to match up with what I'm seeing in my S4S. I tried following this sims4studio.com/thread/3653/change-game-text-used-tuning which referred me to this sims4studio.com/thread/1324/make-basic-change-items-tuning. But Styled Looks don't seem to have a tuning value. So I'm already stuck at the beginning.

1. Easiest thing to do is the steps I mentioned in Step 23 for exporting and importing the pre-made thumbnails that the game makes. Then import your custom thumbnails to replace them. Be aware they must be a power of 2 to work properly. EA uses 460x460 for the thumbnails, so that means the closest power of 2 is 512.
2. In the tutorial I linked you immediately start at the Steps and ignore the Introduction because it doesn't apply, you only need to know how to make a String Table and a string that goes in it. When you get to step 12, skip it and go to Step 14, then stop and go back to my tutorial instead as I cover where you input the name and description hash.

My thumbnail wont generate and just shows a red X, is there a way to assign a custom thumbnail to a swatch?
