Currently I am trying to bring in a jacket model into the Sims 4, so I use blender and all to bring it in, and when it was time to mix the sims uv map with the jacket's, there is this unwanted texture pasted on to it. The tutorial I am currently following:

Hi. You need to align the garment’s uvs with the texture. Have you finished watching the tutorial? It should be explained

When I put the garment's uvs in line with the texture, it makes the texture go completely black. Edit: The image

We would need to see the blend file to know how exactly the material is set up. Also, the uvs are not really aligned with the texture. They must match.
