Hi, I am new to designing here. Right now I am, more or less, successful in recolouring a texture. But I want more and so I am trying to figure out how to use Blender. With the help of this Tutorial I am able to merge two meshes. I merged a skirt an a swimsuit in order to create a dress. I wanted to shorten it. In Blender everything seemed to be perfect, but when I opened it in Sim 4 Studio. There I saw the result. A short dress, but coming together with some which I can only describe as "my greatgreatgrandmother's most ugly underpants". So, now my Question: Is there way to get the best of both worlds? A shorter skirt AND NO ugly underpants? I use Sims 4 Studio3.1.5.3 Gimp 2.10.24 Blender 2.70 Thank you in advance.

Hi. We would need to see the blend and the package. That said, you'd need to watch a tutorial on frankenmeshing because the author of the tutorial you watched is importing the blend in the same package it was exported whereas you are importing your dress in a different one. The number of meshgroups most likely does not match

Hi,
Thank you for the answer. It seems that you had the right idea. Coming home from late shift I glanced at the linked tutorial and I am sure that you hit the bulls eye. Tomorrow I will reread the tutorial an give a second try to the dress.
