Hello all! I have made a mesh through MD and texture through GIMP - it all looks good s4s but when i load it up in sims 4 it comes out all buggy...not sure what is causing this I have tried importing my mesh and texture onto different EA meshes through s4s but it still happens each time Thank you in advance <img src=" " alt="" style="max-width:100%;">

Hi. We would need to see the package and the blend file (before you imported it in s4s) to know what’s wrong, but make sure your blend file has the same number of meshgroups as the package

If you need more info pls let me know Mesh before imported EA mesh i used to put mesh onto:

I meant we need to get access to the files, as in, we want you to upload them on file sharing websites and give us links If you have gmail acc, you can put the file on google drive (make sure to enable sharing ). If you don't, drop them on mediafireBut I checked the package you clone and it has 3 meshgroups while your blend has one, so only one of them is being replaced. The game does not like when this happens, especially when the wrong meshgroup is being replaced, so it gives you distortions like this. You can read more about it here sims4studio.com/thread/13120/cut-numbers-easy-explanationAlso, you should not import your main texture in the thumbnail. Let the game generate its own. If you want a custom one, you can make it later, if appropriate size, but give the game the chance to generate its own because sometimes issues only appear on the thumbnail. another thing, I see you have no s4studio cas tools in blender 2.79. In s4s settings change Blender path to 2.79, close blender if it was opened. Open 2.79 again and check if s4studio cas tools appeared. If yes, you can delete the other version and do everything in 2.79 There are two key differences in 2.7 and 2.76-2.79 that give people problems. When you click on Transfer weights in 2.7, all vertex groups and values are transferred, in 2.76-2.79 only the values of the active group. All you need to do is change that setting (it’s called Source layer..., change to By Name). However, changing a few more settings will give you a lot better results -make sure both the reference and your garment are visible and selectable; - select the reference, shift-select the garment, in weight paint mode click on Transfer weights, set it like in the pic, then choose Clean with All groups and Limit total. Another difference is that in vertex paint the shading is not flat, so you can switch it to bounding box to sample the color [/quote]

Thank you!! This info helped me fixed the issue, didnt realise the extra meshgroups effects my mesh and needed to line up. Thanks again!!
