For those interested into creating, I released a new tutorial ! This one is about how to efficiently reduce the polycount of your model. While you either want to create all the LODs, or bake a normal map for a high poly model or just convert a model to something more game ready like the Sims requires, I present the three techniques I use most of the time.
The values of maximum polycount are the actual limit requirement for any item submitted on The Sims Resources. There's actually no official rules on what is considered to be high poly or not: they are just how much you're willing to create with and how much people's computer can handle. Statements are my opinions only 😉
