Andrew, PLEASE help. I am a sims 2 machinima maker. I am now attempting to make machinimas with the sims 4 but its very difficult. I have a couple questions:
-I'm trying to use this mod, but i cant even move my sims with the bb.moveobjects cheat! So when they go into a pose, i cant even move them onto a bed or a couch or anything! In every other sims game, i was able to select my sim and move them...whats going on? how can i move them?
-Is there a more simplified way to find these animations and use them consistantly for movie making? (the poseplayer) the process of going through all these animations and hoping one will fit your scene is very tedious.
Thank you SO MUCH! This is so frustrating - I cant seem to find answers anywhere, and it's proving to be very complicated to try to make movies with this game.

vintagelovv11 Yes in Sims 4 we cannot move our sims like we normally could in previous sims games, but Scumbumbo has made a teleporter statue for sims to move around. You can download it HERE. As for the poses or animations you will have to make your own that fit your scene or search online or through the Creator Studios to find many poses created by other creators. HERE.

Thank you - whenever i click the pose i want, the menu stays up and i have to click X multiple times to get it to go away. is there an option to make it automatically exit out of the menu when i click the pose i want?

Whenever I downloaded the EA Death Clips set to go with the pose player, all of the animations worked except for one- the "Just Plain Dead" animation. Is anyone else experiencing issues with that one, and how do I fix it? I am also having the same issue as vintagelovv11 where I have to exit out of several menus after selecting a pose/animation. |

Any chance of updating the animation txt file for toddlers and vampires? There are some really nice new animations I'd love to use in machinimas  |

Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I am incredible sorry if it is not.
But how do I find out if a pose is replacing an animation? Had a sim who would switch to 3 different poses just by reading a book and as far as I can see the creators of the poses very rarely states if it replaces animations or not. Is it just a tiresome case of having to download and then check it in-game?

Um hi! Today, I installed the newest version of the Sims 4 Studio (harmony) and I was wondering... How I can batch fix the poses so they work with the new pose pack update and the multi-queuing? I've been trying to look around the forums, but I can't seem to find an answer... Thanks!

simzaddiict, I'm glad its working for you now vintagelovv11 and kaylakoo1701, the issue with the menu not closing out until you click the x button (or escape on keyboard) was done intentionally by request. Many people have requested the feature of being able to select multiple poses without having to open the menu each time and this was the only way that I could make it work. If this is too distracting for people that do not want to select more than one pose from a pack, I can consider making an alternate version that does not include that feature. kaylakoo1701, I have not looked at the death clips in awhile, but since they are EA clips. jmem0, the animation list has been updated for vampires and toddlers. zafireria, since they are overriding EA content, there may be conflict detector programs that can find them. You may also want to post a request in the wishlist thread if this is a feature that you would like to see in Studio. missmanon0609, can you confirm the following things? 1. That you have both the pose player .package and the .ts4script in your mods folder 2. No other versions of the pose player are in your mods folder 3. Your game is patched to the most current patch. 4. Both Custom Content and Script mods are enabled in your game. 5. If it is still not working, that you have tried placing it in your main mods folder without sub folders (some people have problems with this, others do not). fancysummer82, right now the batch fix for poses in Studio is a cheat code. To use it, like in the game, press ctrl+shift+c in Studio to bring up the cheat code menu and type posepacks.update It will be added to the main batch fix menu now that it has been tested more and we haven't had any reports that it does not work. Also, the only new feature that requires the batch fix is sorting the pose packs in alphabetical order. You should still be able to multi-queue without the batch fix.

Im trying to find Pose Player V5 but cant find it!!
I dont have Toddlers, but V4 didnt work well im my version of the game!

andrew, I actually did try doing the "posepacks.update" in the cheats, but I don't think it helped me get most of my poses back into the pose player... Am I doing something wrong, or was that cheat meant for something else? Oh, and sorry for bothering you with my dumb questions! '^-^

KawaiiNya, the pose player V5 was only ever up for a couple of days, because it had a bug that caused pose packs with over 6 or so poses to not scroll. The V4 is the one that was used by all before the toddler patch. I cannot support older versions or unpatched games, so if V4 does not work for you I would suggest patching and trying V6. fancysummer82, the cheat code will not help if the pose pack isn't showing up at all in the pose player. It will only allow it to be sorted alphabetically if it is already showing up. Which ones are not showing up in the pose player? Can you double check to make sure they were made to be used with the pose player rather than overriding an EA animation?

andrew, All of the poses that I've downloaded used to work with the pose player before I updated it to the newest version, but now a lot of them are gone... I don't download poses that replace the EA animations... Once again, thanks for taking your time to help out!
