Like the title says, I've got a pair of earrings where the mesh is made for both ears and I'd like to remove the left and leave just the right. I've looked at tutorials, but none of them seem to contain the info I'm after.
Also: when I try to export a mesh file s4s tells me I need Blender 2.70, I'm using 2.93.5 so it won't let me export. Do I need to download the old version?
Tia!

Select your earrings, go into edit mode, disable limit selection to visible (located on the bottom of the 3D window), using B select one of the earrings, X > faces. Enable limit selection to visible again. If I'm thinking correctly (haha, never happens) you'll have weights (or vertex groups; same thing) you don't need. Install this addon and use it to remove unused vertex groups. Studio only supports versions of Blender up to 2.79. Versions above 2.79 are radically different from the older versions--they made a ton of changes for 2.80 +. I use 2.78 and it's fine, although I recently switched to 2.79. 2.70's interface is washed-out looking for me and I read that it's because it isn't compatible with the newest Nvidia drivers. Plus, I think 2.70 lacks features that 2.79 has if I remember correctly. I have 2.79 installed and the newest versions I have as portable applications, i. e. not installed.

Thanks so much for all your help! Hopefully I can figure it out. LOL. I'm new to editing meshes and find it all a little confusing when just written out. It'll probably make more sense when I get it loaded.
I shall install an older version. Thanks!

You can make your meshes in 2.8--2.8 and above have features older versions do not so sometimes it's worth it--but, unfortunately, you won't be able to open a blend file in any version under 2.8. If your mesh was saved in 2.8 or above, the only way to get your mesh into a lower version of Blender is to append it. Open Blender > File > Append > select your blend file > Object > select the mesh (hold shift if there are more than one) > Append from Library. If an extra rig and/or bone_bone_shape get appended just delete them. Look in the upper right corner. They'll be listed there. Right-click and choose delete.
