Hi. I'm not exactly new to Blender but as far as my skills go, I can only create poses (and recolor), and that's exactly why I need help with accessories for poses. I'd like to convert this whiskey cup (or any accessory in the 'ring' category for that matter) so that it's used as gloves or a bracelet instead (heck, even a hat). I'm trying to make poses for a story, and my Sim uses the skin detail version of Kijiko's eyelashes, so rings or other accessories that use the same texture space (is that how it works?) conflict with them, causing these weird texture glitches that can't really be resolved unless the glasses version of the eyelashes is used instead. The problem with that is my Sim wears glasses and it's an integral part of his character and the story so I don't want to remove them just to make the ring accessories work. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hi. - export the texture from the package as png, open it in the image editing software. Copy-paste this image in the file and move this layer underneath the texture; - move and scale down the texture to fit in the space meant for something your sim won't be wearing; - delete the template, save the png, import back in s4s; - export the blend file, select s4studio_mesh_1, select its uv_0, select everything with A, assign the edited texture as the background in the uv editor; - with everything selected, move it to fit the new texture. G to move, S to scale; - if there is s4studio_mesh_2, repeat the process; - save, import back in the package

Just want to note that it's not a good idea to clone a hat for an accessory that isn't a hat. If you do, then as soon as you equip the item the game will display one of the hat chops and you're sim will look like this:
