I made this electronic item(radio), and every time I put it in game the environment lighting just becomes darker(time in-game was around noon very bright, but when the item is placed in the lot the world goes dark like it's night time). It doesn't make sense to me, cause I made literally another version(diff. design) by cloning the same base object, and that 2nd version works just right and does not affect any lighting. I'm so confused. This is the first time it happened, all other cc I made does not have this prob. Does anyone have any idea how to fix that or have experienced it too? Notes: - I always set the SSAO intensity to 0(before first test - to ensure no weird shadows). It seems tho that it does not have anything to do with what's happening.
- I was not using any lighting mods.
- I tested the item in-game right after rendering it—texture was the one rendered from blender(grey scale). Doubles? removed. And, it perfectly worked, no lighting/shadow issues.
- So, I colored it — now fully textured I tested it in-game and this lighting issue came out.
- It seems to only make the environment darker when placed outdoor or in a not fully closed room. Obviously, that's not how it's suppose to work, yeah?
- Tried deleting all occluders in warehouse, but it did not change anything.
- Also tried cloning it from the "2nd version" but nothing changed, still the same case.
(I will try to add photos later. I'm still losing my mind, need to take a break. haha)

Share your package file, too.

Hi. If your issue is similar to this, update your s4s to the latest version, it was a bug

Hi! Fwecka (Lolabellesims) and mauvemorn, thank you so much for responding. Mine was making the whole lot and the surrounding area dark, and it was the only one out of 23 items that did it. I was going to update this thread with screenshots and the package file, but then I saw the s4s update earlier. So, I redid it just now, with the same mesh(.blend) and textures, and I think it's all good now. No weird shadows and lighting now.
Thank you again
