Share your files. I'm thinking you have everything mapped to the wrong spot on the CAS map.

Share your files. I'm thinking you have everything mapped to the wrong spot on the CAS map. You're right, thank you! imgur.com/a/KYIosUq I was following a tutorial that said when you frakenmesh to just bring the other pieces you need over to the right, which is in the accessory mapping. If that causes problems, how would I go about remapping it without removing any of the curls as all of those are still being used by the mesh. Would I shrink the top corner and shove the bangs in with it? And if so, would the quality be retained?

well, you should probably watch a different tutorial because that was a crazy thing to teach someone, who knows what else did they tell you
You need to share your blend and package files so that we would see if there is any free uv space. If not, it will be difficult to re-do

Thank you for taking the time to help btw!

Oh, well, bad news then. There is no free space and moving that many uv islands is a very bad idea. If you are making it for yourself, move all those uvs of the part you added in the space meant for hats. If you plan on sharing it with other people, then, well, I do not recommend you to share. But this is a good lesson. If you plan on making more frankenmeshes, check if there is ( or will be after you will delete unwanted parts) free space first.

This hair can be salvaged but it will mean a lot of work. You'll have to entirely redo the UV layout and then you'll have to edit the diffuse to match the new UV layout. Open an EA hair and study how the UV map has been done to get a better idea of what you need to do.

I would not recommend to do this because, first, there are just too many uvs islands to move, second, they are already very small, when you will make them smaller to accommodate the rest, the quality will worsen dramatically. I thought of removing and mirroring half of the hair on the scalp, but even that provided very little free space. And remember that you will have to rebake 24 diffuse textures, and the normal map
