I have a whole pile of CC that lives in the sky details section of TS4. I want to layer some of these CC but can't because they are in the same section Cheek Mole (Right).
What I tried to do is load it up in S4S. I noticed it was part of a merged package. I unmerged it and loaded up the skin detail package. I changed the category to Cheek Mole (Left) and saved it as a separate package. Now neither my new one nor old one is showing up.
I guess it's not as simple as I had hope.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong, and maybe point me to a tutorial if one exist?
What I would ideally like is reorganize all my skin details to live in different categories. Like all my skin overlays in one category, all my eyebags in another, etc, etc, so that I can effectively layer these effects more easily.

I think I have it mostly figured out.

Can you tell us what you've figured out? It will help others.

In S4S, you just have to go under categories, choose the outfit type and select the slot you want and apply to all swatches. That seems to be working. However, I am still trying to figure out why some are showing up for males when I explicitly removed the male checkbox for all swatches.

This is what dictates it, not the gender

That doesn't seem to work. I removed Masculine from fashion choice, and apply to all swatches. Then for good measure, I also removed the flag for male and applied to all swatches. This is still appearing for males under skin details.

Restrict opposite gender as well (at the bottom of the categories), although it should not appear unless you were to remove the tags in CAS If won’t work, share the package

Woot! That looks to have worked.
All my skin overlays are now in the same category and show only for the correct gender. So much more organized now. Now to re-organize the rest of my skin details to make layering easy.
Thanks so much for your help
