I'm kind of unsure if what I am experiencing is either a bug or it's something that occurs normally. Basically, I had opened up a slider mod's package file in S4S and went to click on one of the entities which was a deformer map. Well, problem is there are some deformer maps with thumbnails and ones without. Clicking on the thumbnail deformer map, S4S immediately crashes. After this, I checked another slider mod to see if this could be replicated and sure enough the deformer maps with thumbnails crashes S4S. Keep in mind I'm still wrapping my head around deformer maps, so I was kind of puzzled as to why S4S crashed when clicking on this file. The reason why I'm asking if this is normal is because I'm wondering if deformer maps (the ones with thumbnails) are only accessible through another means and not S4S studio. Like they are compiled in another program and only merely placed in S4S studio.
Currently on S4S Studio 1.3.3.4 (Apple Blossom) and MacOS Monterey 12.2. Blender is pointed to version 2.76 although I'm using Blender 3.0. Game Path is all correct too.

Hi. Sliders and presets are made with s4 morphmaker. s4s cannot work with them

Thanks for the clarification! So my hunch was right that this deformer map is just packaged via S4S, but cannot be accessed/interfaced through S4S.

it is not packaged with s4s, s4 morph maker just generates them in the same format ( because this is the standard format for ts4 custom content)

I have no problem with any Deformer Maps crashing S4S so I suspect this may be a bug in the Mac version. The image preview doesn't work on my Windows and it doesn't seem to export the resource in a useable form, but it doesn't crash.
Deformer Maps have to be generated from mesh data and can't be directly modified, at least not by any tool I know of.
