Okay, I can make mattresses no problem. Bed frames are my hiccup. I don't want to use another person's mesh and overwrite...I want to be able to make my own. The biggest thing is finding threads where creators say to just clone a rug? The issue is, it looks weird in-game. Like, looking at it in most angles, parts of the mesh disappear. Image below to show. Can someone help me in fixing this? Should I use a different decorative object? Because everytime I've done that, my sims can "View" the bed frame as if it's a sculpture and/or they can't use the mattress because the bed frame is in the way, so they can't access it. IMAGENOTE: Notice the back-right post cutting through the base of the bed, along with the footboard of the bed. This is the Industrial Loft Kit bed.

Don't clone a rug. Instead, you need its footprint. In other words, copy its settings: 00000005 for Flags, 0000020C for IntersectionFlags (Warehouse > Footprint > ObjectPolygons/Edit Items). Clone any sculpture, go to the Warehouse > Object Definition, edit these fields: Tuning | prototype_RetailCompatible | TuningId | 115540 |
Now a sim won't interact with your item.

Now a sim won't interact with your item. Okay, so that takes care of that problem. Now I have a new one: In game, my frame has a weird texture on it. I used the base game rabbit sculpture. I used the "Create 3D Mesh" of this sculpture, changed the footprint & object definition like stated above, imported the meshes & textures, and editted the tags. I attempted to delete the DST Images with the strange texture appearing in game, but that didn't seem to make a difference. I then found OM's tutorial and blacked-out those DST images instead, but it's still doing the same thing. What am I missing here? IMAGE
NOTE: Extremely noticeable on the headboard.

EA might have painted the shadow of the pillows onto the bed frame.
Look at the diffuse texture of the bed frame itself. EA has been known in the past to paint shadows on.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the pillow shadows. They don't bother me. I'm talking about the weird split on the frame. Here's a better image. It's not the lighting in the room, because this happens inside and outside, with and without lights, and no matter what time of day it is. This is definitely something wrong with the package itself, and I can't figure it out for the life of me.

It looks like a mismatched bump map. Have you tried using the bed bump and specular maps? Please share your package and blend file.
