hi mauvemorn, can you help me?? can you please tell me why my dress in game is doing this?? every time I try to do a dress I just can't. every time I do a long dress at the end when I test it in game it looks bad. I have tried with different reference meshes and any of them works. in blender I fix the weighs...I move the bones to check of the clothes are moving fine with the body and everything but in game it just don't work, so the only thing I can think is the reference mesh. I don't know can you please tell why this is happening?? what I'm missing?? here is my package file, here is the pictures so u can see what I mean, and the blender file just in case. thank you I'm truly frustrated with dresses. 1drv.ms/u/s!AsEZLbwkQ8sdiLZ0Ra_KadbU6qAjRw?e=kJGWcu 1drv.ms/u/s!AsEZLbwkQ8sdiJpirfvcOcMe9leN0w?e=elp59t 1drv.ms/u/s!AsEZLbwkQ8sdiLZ1teysPYb5rFV42A?e=OuOTuM I'm sorry this is the only way I know to share things in here, I'm new in this sharing things, I'm sorry if you see all my cc and mods from my game, I was trying to send you just the pictures, the blender and packages files but I don't know how I think I ended up sending you the complete mods folder but I don't know for sure, just copy and paste the links in your navigator. thank you

Hi, angelholiday17 . Every vertex of the mesh can be affected by no more than 4 vertex groups. If there's more, s4s will delete them in the random order. Instead of letting s4s do it like this you should always do it in blender yourself because blender will delete extra vertex groups with the smallest values and normalize the rest This is how to transfer weights in 2.76-2.79. Limit total is what removes those extra vertex groups
The reference you chose was suitable, however, there are a few things that should be avoided/fixed: - dresses must be vertex painted with two colors; Vertex paint dictates what variation (skin-tight and robe-like) of deformation maps the painted area will deform according to in CAS during body customization and animation. 00FF00 is for skint-tight areas, 3FFF00 is for any skirt-like area ( skirts, bottom parts of dresses, coats, aprons, etc). Start by choosing 00FF00 and Paint - Set vertex color 1). Disable Limit selection to visible; 2). Holding Ctrl, lasso-select the bottom part of the mesh starting somewhere in the middle of the pelvic bone; 3). Enable sync; 4). Press B and deselect legs; 5). Switch to Vertex paint and enable Face selection masking for painting; 6). Type in 3FFF00; 7). Paint - Set vertex colors; 8). Press A twice to deselect and select everything again, Paint - Smooth vertex colors - the dress is very high poly, almost 5 times more than any maxis item. If you plan on sharing your cc with others, you need to consider how it will affect their game performance; - you must adapt the garment first ( transfer weights and uvs, vertex paint) and only then join it with the body. You should not overwrite any data on the body because it does not transfer well in the hand area; - you should clone something similar to your garment. Your dress is affected by skirt bones while the cloned lingerie set was not. If you will introduce skirt bones to the package, you or people using your cc will run into this issue on the highest graphics settings. To prevent this, you need to clone something that is affected by skirt bones, for example, DressPanels
