Hello! I'm trying to figure out how to repair a broken piece of custom content that I downloaded? I've had Sims4Studio for a while now, but I've never touched it. I didn't think this would be too hard to fix, but I'm not really finding what I need? The item is this:

When you place the item, it gets a buggy black shading, but when your cursor is highlighted over it, the colors appear. Is there a certain way to fix this simply? Possibly also add a swatch that more matches Sims style?
I appreciate any help I can get!
