Maybe it’s because I didn’t really get a lot out of TS3 due to having a shitty laptop at the time, but I really think TS4 is a step up. I do miss the open world thing and it would be nice if there were at least open neighborhoods, but in general I feel like the game is a lot more open-ended. I don’t play without MCCC, so maybe that’s why? I have almost all the major expansion packs, and I realize that’s a lot of money invested in order to get more gameplay, but I feel like for the most part the additions are well worth it to me. And the build mode is so powerful that it actually makes prior versions of the game feel unplayable in that aspect. I don’t know. It’s just weird seeing people romanticize stuff from TS2 or whatever like “detailed animations” when I don’t feel like those really added a lot to the game, in my experience. I could just be a different type of player, but I don’t really feel like those details actually add more personality and I’d rather have that effort be channeled into gameplay 192.168.0.1 router login 192.168.l.l. I do feel like we need more traits and that aspirations/whims needed to be overhauled a long time ago and it’s a missed opportunity. But I also feel like people romanticize earlier versions of the game because those are the ones they grew up playing, or they played them in a time when they had more imagination or were younger with more patience to play out their own storylines. I love TS4 a lot and I’m always shocked when I go online and there’s so much negativity about it. It’s a different game than others in the series, but it’s just that— it’s different.

I like it! Personally I've always been more into making sims and decorating homes than actual gameplay, and I think TS4 is perfect for that. The Sims in this game look the best (in my opinion) and the build/buy mode is really great.
