Heyy, i've converted some hair meshes to the sims and it works just fine, the only problem if i swatch the haircolor the alpha part texture works fine, but the clay part of the hair won't change to the right color and stays the same.

Select the clay meshgroup, in uv editor select everything with A, click on Open, and choose this template. You will see that the hair uvs get in the space meant for the face. That said, if you do not plan on making hat chops, you can clone glasses and make only 2 meshgroups ( opaque and transparent). This will prevent the sim from going bald when you put hats on them. And its always best to make proper uv_1 and vertex paint the mesh so that it causes no problems during morphing

the uvs islands, not exactly "wrong" but a bit too low, they should be smaller to fit that space ( do not put them too close to the borders or you will get a similar issue there )
