Hello, I just recently decided I make my own CC clothing instead of just recolloring existing cloths. I do know my way around 3+ way better then 2.76 so I tried to follow the steps of getting it over to blender 3+, but all I get is a blank mannequin with some noise on it SS below. I did Make a new scene in 3+ deleted all and saved it I then did export the mesh to 2.76 its only one mesh and the cut number was 0000. Then I append its objects in 3+ And all I got is what you see in the SS so am I doing something wrong or is this not possible in the lattest version on blender? Is there any video tutorial on how to do this because I tend to understand videos better then written tuts. im following this tutorial for the clothing sims4studio.com/thread/4324/tutorial-detailed-guide-create-clothing

Hi. I suggest you to follow the tutorial in 2.7x for the sake of learning the process and, after you'll figure everything out, to adapt it to Blender 3+. Otherwise you will encounter a lot of problems like this one. The newer versions of Blender are almost an entirely different software, so a lot of things are in different places, some of the things (the materials) are not supported. I take it you are referring to the absence of the texture, right? The old material is not supported, so you'd need to make a new one

Well thats a thing. I rather use blender 3+ cause this old version isnt working properly on my big screen and im not used to the layout and old names from Bl 2.76. Isnt it possible to make a piece in Bl 3+ and save it as an old blend or obj file open it in 2.76 and from there export it to the studio.
Its understandable they stick to the old version of blender but blender changed a lot in the 7 years after 2.76. maybe thats just me ill relearn 2.76 then

It is easier to do for someone who already knows how to adapt content to ts4. Someone who is new to the process will have a hard time finding every button they need because the interface is very different. Having to constantly pause to google or ask where something is will make it harder to understand and memorize the routine. So it is more reasonable to understand and memorize the routine without distractions first, then adapt it to a version you are more familiar with.
