How to make a Face Paint
If you want to learn how to make your own simple face paint, take a look at my video tutorial below.
I will show you step by step how to use The Sims 4 Studio in combination with Photoshop to make this kind of mod. The end result in this video is not mind blowing, but if you take more time creating the face paint itself it will look great!
• As saving as PNG is much easier and faster then saving as DDS, here is what you have to do following my tutorial:
In Studio export the Face Mask texture as PNG file instead of DDS.
At 4.16 after scrolling out, delete all layers except for the ones on which you painted the new mask.
So probably you will have to delete the last 2 layers: The skin layer and the background layer.
There is no need to merge layers, but if you do click on one of the layers and choose "merge visible".
Be sure to NOT use "Flatten Image" as that won't work the right way in this case.
After that, go to file, save as and choose for format PNG instead of DDS.
Continu the tutorial at 6.02 minutes.
