Hello ! I'm just starting out in editing some meshes for personal use, and Ive run into a issue that I cannot figure out. The arms of the top I edited just clip through the body, compared to the EA mesh where there seems to be a realistic distance. Is there a way to fix this without redoing it ? I used 3ds max to edit the mesh and uv, and blender 2.79 to assign cut numbers. I didn't do any changes to the bones, but i did export/import it as .fbx twice to switch between programs, I'm not familiar with blender at all so I don't know if that could have messed anything up. .

seems like deleting that area messes up slotrayinteractions. Just clone yfTop_JacketAthletic and import your blend there
