Hey guys!
I've been doing this big pack of tshirts, but i've got some problem getting them to look realistic.
My main issue is getting it look like fabric. I tried adding some Noise in Photoshop, but im still unhappy.
Does anyone have any helpful tips they could possibly share?

Do you mean photo-realistic or realistic to match the game's style?
Either way I just copy + paste a picture of what I want or extract a texture from an in-game item, desaturate it, then use it as an overlay.

Both, but mainly match the style of the game i guess, some clothes look downright weird with the over photo-realistic shadows and what nots.
I tried to use the texture from extracted clothes but it ended up looking pretty weird, but maybe thats connected to my troubles with saving the work and it looking HQ....

Golly, thanks!  It does take some fiddling around to get it to look just right- just be sure to make a note of what you did once you finally figure out a process that works for you. I learned the hard way that you won't always be able to remember it, lol! |

Thanks for the advice, I sure will remember to scribble it down, I've redone the same set of clothes 4 times in a row now, so yeah, it really takes alot of trial and errors before getting it down, lol.

I agree with Spirashun, I haven't made clothes for Sims 4 but did with 2. The best Tee shirt I ever made was a purple minions one literally copied and pasted over the template and wiggled a bit with the effects. I have no clue if it would work with 4 as many things with furniture don't, but it could be worth a try.

lol Thank you it's me and P, they even look like us although I'm the science geek and he's the drummer I'm loving yours too, very cool a sort of toon Bond 8-) edit, here's the texture I used in case you wanted to give it a shot, I used for a bed as well and it had a slightly 3d look in the Sims 2, no idea if it can be repeated in 4.   |
