S4S is janky

Sorry im not sure if this is the right place to post this but my s4s is really janky and slow, how would I go about fixing this? when I open it up and click anything it goes into "not responding" mode but eventually loads after a while. The same thing happens for when im looking through the catalogue and click certain options. Recently though it has gotten worse I cant access certain parts of the program it just keeps the not responding screen up and doesnt load, like currently I am trying to get to 'my cc' page to clean out my cc but it just stays frozen like that and ive restarted it several times. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
